Orange won the consolation game in the Benedictine Christmas Tournament to win third place over the Avon Eagles by a final score of 4-0. Both teams came out skating very well with a lot of up and down the ice action in the first period. Both goalies held the opposition scoreless after the first period. Jason Kornbluth opening the scoring with 12:16 left in the second period on assists from Justin Beachler and Tommy Hill. Just two minutes later Kornbluth (2) scored again with help from freshman duo Ajay Desponde and Jackson Fellinger. Beachler scored just before the end of the period on assists from Kornbluth and Kyle Haddon. The score after the second period was 3-0 Orange. The third period had a lot of action but the only goal was scored by Hill on a open net with 42 seconds left in the game. Goalie Danny Moore added 28 saves for his second straight shutout.
