The Lions traveled to Chagrin Falls to take on the conference leading Tigers Tuesday night. The Lions started quick. Senior forward and captain, Hunter Kasparian, found some space on the left wing and whipped in a low driven cross. Kasparian’s cross found sophomore midfielder, Cade Horvat, on the back post. Horvat was able to slot the ball passed the Tigers goalkeeper to give Orange the lead. From there, the Lions were able to hold off the Tigers for the remainder of the half. Being down a goal, Chagrin started the second half with a high press. However, the Orange back line withstood the pressure and prevented anything from getting through. Nearing full time, it appeared as though the Tigers were going to find an equalizer on a header. However, junior goalkeeper, Adam Rosenthal, made a diving one handed save to his left to keep the ball from finding the back of the net. When the final whistle blew, it was Orange who would come out on top by a score of 1 – 0. The Lions advance to 6-3-3 on the season and are unbeaten in the last 6 games with 4 straight wins.
