The Lions started the game quick. From the first whistle, the ball was dropped to freshman midfielder, Jake Tartaglia. Tartaglia hit a long ball over the right backs head into the feet of senior midfielder, Hunter Kasparian. Kasparian took a few touches down the line and whipped in a ball to sophomore forward, Victor Ononogbo. Ononogbo placed the incoming ball into the right hand side of the goal giving the Lions an early 1-0 advantage. Soon after, Kasparian found some space on the wing and after beating his defender found himself in a 1v1 with the keeper. Kasparian slotted the ball into the back of the net with composure extending the Lions lead. Chardon, however, would find a goal before half making it 2-1. Orange would go on to score 3 second half headers. The first coming from Ononogbo after a superb cross from sophomore midfielder, Cade Horvat. The second coming from Horvat after a brilliant service from senior midfielder, Carson Munn. The third and final goal of the game came on a corner kick. With time winding down, junior midfielder, Matt Sigel, rushed to take the corner. He whipped a nice ball into around the 6 yard box. Sophomore defender, Pascal Morris-Barrie, located the incoming ball and out-jumping his defender, he headed the ball into the back of the net. Orange would win the game 5 – 1. The Lions end the regular season with a record of 9-4-3.
