Orange coach Rich Bole rested three of his starters Wednesday after grueling contests against Chagrin and US the previous two days. That decision presented an opportunity for some new faces to represent Orange in CVC play against a Beachwood Bison team that was also depleted by rest and injury.
Even well below full strength the Lions earned a sweep. Four of five matches were over quickly. The most intrigue, by far, was at #2 doubles where Juniors Noah Lurie & Rohit Kasyap split sets before prevailing 11-9 in a third set match breaker.
The Lions are now 9-1 on the season with an unblemished 5-0 record in CVC play.
