With illness still finding a way to plague our last 3 games, you have to give our girls credit for still finding a way to come out on top. Our numbers were very limited tonight due to some players staying home with the flu, while another went out injured halfway through the Jv game. We started out slow scoring wise, struggling to get an easy basket to fall; our defense on the other hand was what held us in the game, limiting West Geauga to only 18 points at the half. Our back court duo Kaydan Lawson and Casey Smith led the way in scoring tonight while also doing a great job defensively on Ehrbar for West Geauga. Kaydan Lawson finished the night with 21 points, 10 steals, 7 rebounds, and 6 blocks. Casey Smith scores 22 points, shooting 2-3 from 3 PT range. Caila Gissentaner was aggressive for us tonight scoring 6 points, going 100% (4-4) from the free throw line and grabbing 4 rebounds.
