Mandy Askari is nominated for Athlete of the Week for her true dedication to her sport. Mandy has always had outstanding showmanship while performing on the field/court or at community events. She brings her athleticism to each practice and game with her excellent jumps, her use of sharp-hard hitting motions with flawless motion technique and her ability to learn new material nonstop, performing it with all the talent of the best high school cheerleaders. Mandy’s spirit and enthusiasm for her sport shows at each practice and game, setting the example of what it means to give one hundred percent at all times. The sport of cheer is unique in its combination of athleticism while having the ability to execute these athletic skills while smiling, having personality, and using the correct cheerleading voice to lead the crowd. Nick Began is nominated for Athlete of the Week for his exceptional performance this past weekend. Nick is a part of the Varsity Wrestling team. Over the weekend Orange finished in 6th place at the CVC Conference Championships, Nick placed 1st in his weight class at 113 lbs.
