The girls swimming and diving team competed in the 2019 Orange Invitational this passed weekend. The girls also competed against state level competition.
The girls 200 medley relay placed 6th overall. Hollington, Halloran, Hill, and Klinginsmith went a 2:00.96.
Freshman, Lily Klinginsmith placed 6th overall in the 200 IM. Klinginsmith went a time of 2:21.36.
Janie Boyle won the diving event. Boyle scored 289.70 points in six dives.
There was a new pool record set by Hawken’s Abby Hay in the 100 butterfly. Hay went a 57.67!
Klinginsmith competed in the 100 free and placed fourth overall. She went a 58.10. Hollington also raced in the 100 free. She placed 9th and went a 1:00.97.
Freshman, Kate Halloran placed third in the 500 free. Halloran went a time of 5:42.21.
The girls 400 free relay placed 5th with a time of 4:03.35. Hill, Klinginsmith, Boyle, and Halloran competed in the event.
The girls team placed 6th overall with 136 points. Great job, ladies!
