On Saturday, January 13, 2018 Janie Boyle had a field day during the Northeast Classic and Orange’s own dual meet against Kenston.
On the morning of Saturday, Boyle was competing in the Northeast Classic in Canton, OH where she scored a recording breaking 503.90 on 11 dives, beating 28 other divers by a wide range. This not only breaks her school record of 495.00, which she set herself in 2016 but her score also broke the meet record for the entire event making Janie the highest scoring diver ever at the Northeast Classic!
But that’s not it, after competing in Canton Saturday morning, Janie then traveled back to Orange High School to compete in the dual meet against Kenston. She placed 2nd in the 50 free and then won the diving event!
Swimming and diving will return home again on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 6:05 PM to take on Chagrin Falls. Mark it in your calendars!
