Game Recap

Orange’s eleven hits led to seven runs as the Lions beat Harvey Tuesday afternoon by a score of 7-4. The Lions were led offensively by Austin Lubell who went 3-4 with a double and Antonio Baez who went 2-3 with two runs scored. Joey Fekete added a pair of hits, and Danny Kraig, Nick Garofoli (2B), Ben Frazier (2B), and Chase Weiss also each added a hit a piece.

Ben Frazier started the game and pitched two innings, giving up a run and two hits, while Ryan Kochis threw three innings in relief giving up a hit, a run, and striking out three and earned the win. Marcello Velotta pitched a quality sixth inning, and Max Leikin came in to close out the game and recorded a save.

The Lions are off tomorrow and will travel to Streetsboro on Thursday to begin OHSAA tournament play. First pitch is at 4:30pm.
