With runners on second and third, Harrison Gross struck out two, the gave up a two run single to tie the game. The third out came when Antonio Baez threw out a runner trying to steal second.

In the bottom of the 7th inning, Nick Garofoli led off with double, and Austin Lubell bunted him over to third, reaching first on an error. An intentional walk loaded the bases with no outs. Grant Richman then hit a ground ball to the shortstop who threw Garofoli out at home.
